Senior PHP Developer / Drupal Developer / PHP / LAMP Developer / Web Developer (Full Time, London)

London based social networking and Drupal agency BrightLemon ™ specialise in building online communities and social networks for ethical clients within the educational and charitable sectors. An opportunity has now arisen for a Drupal Developer / Senior PHP Developer to join our team.

This is the ideal role for a talented PHP / Drupal developer to develop their career with an agency boasting Amnesty International, Natural History Museum, British Council and the Department for Education, amongst its clients.
 
As a Senior PHP Developer your time will be split between actively assisting the development team with any issues regarding their work and hands-on back-end development.  
 
Your main responsibilities will include improving development practices, in terms of both efficiency and quality, by working with the Project Manager on the processes they use to deliver projects. You will also be required to create innovative relationships with both the development team and third party vendors.
 

Essential skills/requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Excellent PHP development experience (minimum 2-3 years)
  • A good understanding of the LAMP stack
  • Solid communication and organisational skills and a positive can-do attitude

Desirable skills/requirements:

This role will involve Drupal development therefore the Senior PHP Developer will ideally have:

  • Experience of Drupal Module development and Drupal Theming 
  • A sound understanding of Front End web technologies
  • knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Good candidates with only the essential skills outlined above will also be considered as will exceptional graduate trainees - a Drupal training programme will be provided.
