Europe’s biggest Drupal event of the year is less than two weeks away now… Very exciting. We’re proud to say we’re gold sponsors again, just like atPrague last year. This will actually be my first DrupalCon, and, as a
-Drupalist (well, non-developer), my thoughts and experiences prior, during and after the event are likely to be very different to the hundreds of devs who’ll be flying in from all over the world to attend. However, this by no means puts me off.
By default of working at a Drupal agency, I’ve learnt about the strong Drupal community that exists here in London and the rest of the UK. It’s been said many times before, but I can definitely see the correlation between the depth of the community, including the idea of Drupal contributions, and the fact its focus is open source. So, for me, DrupalCon 2014 will be a chance to see the European Drupal community in one place and get more of an insight into how it’s kept so strong and keeps growing. I’m also looking forward to topping up on my general Drupal knowledge… Who wants to set up a post-DrupalCon quiz?!
Who’s going to what?
I also asked some of our team what they’re looking forward to most at DrupalCon Amsterdam… (I’m sure you all want to know where they’ll be!)
