pleased to announce that our recent

project which was built for the Tate and Unilever Series, has won two awards for Education and Best use of Research in the 2011 Hollis Sponsorship Awards.

The online community which helps schools form partnerships with artists, galleries and schools from around the world is the ever-present tool that forms the backbone of the project, playing a vital role in connecting teachers, students and artists worldwide. Students can upload their writing, photographs and videos to the online community where partner schools can share, compare and develop work together. For example, view the latest online gallery which was put together by students around the world – You

I Me
 I Us I Together

The aim of the project will be to support approximately 500 schools, 100 gallery partnerships, 250 schools partnerships located in 30 different countries by 2013.

“It is an honour for turbinegeneration to receive two Hollis Awards, validating the hard work and commitment of a terrific team of dedicated partners. We are delighted to celebrate the vital contribution that our long standing partnership with Unilever makes to promoting engagement with art and artists whilst fostering a community of globally aware and digitally active citizens.”

“We are extremely proud to have won these awards for our partnership with Tate Modern on turbinegeneration. The research findings have revealed very positive outcomes, for example, a 70% increase in the confidence levels of students.
