Leading Drupal Developer, Technical Lead or Technical Consultant with excellent knowledge of PHP, LAMP and/or Drupal required by leading social web agency based in London. As a Drupal Developer, you will be developing the architecture for some leading social network and online community projects for the education and charity sector.
Due to expansion, we are looking for a leading Drupal Developer to work with our growing team (Drupal enthusiasts!) to deliver some exciting online community projects. Our clients include some of the largest and most influential online brands within the education, government and charity sectors, including the British Council, Tate Modern, Victoria & Albert Museum, the Department for Education and Amnesty International.
Our networks represent over 1,125,000 users in 18 countries and have been featured in the finals of both the BIMA and
BETT Awards and on industry-leading sites such as MySQL.com and Mashable.com.
We are also working with the leading Drupal company, Acquia, helping to develop their social Drupal distribution.
Your time will be spent on back-end Drupal development for social networks. As a key component of the development team, you will be expected to take both responsibility and pride in your work. Analysis, Drupal Recipe formulation and Module development are all areas you will be leading on.
You should ideally have experience with building entire sites using Drupal, writing custom modules and ideally be active in the community. However, excellent LAMP/PHP/MySQL developers should also apply.
You should also be an excellent communicator, a hardworking but more importantly (smart working) developer, with an eye for detail and bringing projects in on time.
Most importantly you should have a passion for what you do. We are a friendly team where everyone plays an important role and is an expert in their field.
You will need:
Excellent PHP development experience (minimum 2-3 years)
A good understanding of the LAMP stack
Solid communication and organisational skills and a positive can-do attitude
This role is based in London and is full time.
