
Brightlemon Jobs: Junior Drupal Developer (London)
An opportunity has now arisen for a Junior Drupal Developer to join the team. This is the ideal role for a Junior Drupal developer enthusiast who wants to develop their career with an innovative digital agency who specialises in building online communities and social networks for ethical clients.
As a Junior Drupal developer, you will spend time assisting the development team and actively developing online solutions to the limit of your capabilities. You will be provided with a Drupal training programme to assist your progress, however, you will also be expected to take initiative for your own advancements – with the expectations of becoming a fully fledged Drupal expert.
We are specifically looking for a young aspiring developer who has an interest in working alongside Drupal with at least two years of experience or has recently graduated from a computing degree.
Most importantly you should have a passion for what you do. We are a friendly team who aim to create a positive working environment where everyone plays an important role and is an expert in their field. We’re also open to forming partnerships between members of the team so if you’ve got an idea you’d like to develop then bring it along!
Essential skills/requirements: To be considered for this position, you must have:
- Intermediate PHP development experience (minimum 1 year)
- Show experience in dealing with Drupal Module development and Drupal Theming
- Solid communication and organisational skills and a positive can-do attitude
Desirable skills/requirements: This role will involve Drupal development, therefore, the Junior Drupal developer will ideally have:
- Experience in dealing with database configuration
- A sound understanding of Front End web technologies
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
