City hall hosted a spectacular evening event to mark the launch of the WellHappy app designed by BrightLemon for
myhealthlondon
The high profile launch has been supported by celebrities Joss Stone, Ralf Little, Joe Swash and Sadie Frost who have all been involved in promoting the app and site which will help to direct young people which organisations to turn to when they need help.
State of Mind
The app and ‘Young people’ site have been developed to achieve a goal set out in the State of Mind manifesto created for mental health charity, Young Minds. The manifesto, written by young people, was created to pressure decision makers into recognising the needs of youngsters in London. The manifesto demands; “Tell us where to go when we need help”.
Charities including CALM, Young Minds and TXTm8 have contributed content and links to the project so that for the first time, these lines to support have been brought together into an easy to access app and site.
This is the first app BrightLemon has been involved in and is proud that it is one that will be able to directly support young people in London.
The app is now available for free on both Google Play and Apple App Store.
